For a Coney Island, it’s a 5/5. No one is expecting a Coney to be fine dining - at Sunny’s the food was good, the service was friendly, the place was clean and comfortable. If I’m in the area and in that Coney Island mood, I’ll definitely come back here

Had breakfast on a Saturday morning and had a mixed experience. Our order was taken quickly and we got drinks fast but breakfast took more than 20 minutes to arrive. When it did come it was good and the price was fair so overall enjoyed it.

This Ma n Pa place been around about 30 year's packing the hungry families in. They use to have Ray's in Lincoln Park now in Romulus great location Ecorse at Merriman. Lot's of airport employees be regulars. Beautiful dining area spotless clean, fast friendly service always. We started with Ham n Beans Soup Delicious. Becca French Toast Eggs n Sausage Patties yummy. Me a special request a BIGMAN Omelette Gyro Feta Onions inside and a order of Gyro Meat sliced of the spit. Absolutely fantastic nope couldn't finish it all. Big Bowl O Grits Love. Hey they looking really hard for a few waitress, great money great owners. Adorable little diner! Clean, quick service, exactly what you want in a diner. The food was AMAZING (my daughter proclaimed their french toast the best she's ever had, and she's had quite a few!) It was so thick and soft and perfect. I ordered "loaded hashbrowns", which isn't on the menu, but they delivered and exceeded my expectations! Our waitress (and all the other staff we interacted with) were very friendly and attentive! This is our new favorite place to stop in for a quick bite!

This adorable spot is exactly what you hope for in a classic diner: clean, quick service, and a wonderfully friendly staff. The food here is truly AMAZING. My daughter crowned their French toast the best she's ever had—it was incredibly thick, soft, and perfect! I was delighted when they accommodated my off-menu request for "loaded hashbrowns," and they completely exceeded my expectations. Every staff member, including our waitress, was friendly and attentive. This is definitely our new favorite place for a quick bite!

Reasonable pricing and the food was very good. We ordered to pick up, so didn't dine in, but restaurant is very clean and neat. good atmosphere. Very friendly staff. It is located at Marriman and Ecrose Rd. Intersection, but might bit difficult to see the restaurant because of behind of the liquor shop.

Whoever wrote bad reviews must have prior issues with the owners, this place is great! A hidden gem in plain view. I was skeptical at first, but as soon as I saw their coney dogs I knew it was gonna be good! So much coney sauce and a great dog! Then I had to taste the biscuits and gravy...... the sausage gravy is good, but the biscuits rocked my world! The cook must've buttered and grilled them on the cut sides quick or something, but those things melt in your mouth! I had some extra gravy because they serve so much so I ordered another biscuit to use it up!!!! If I lived by this place, I would be here multiple times a week. And their prices can't be beat! Theres a reason why the place looks a little dated.... and it's not cause they don't get business, its cause they give you such a good deal onthe food! 4 of us are there for 35$ and I had two meals..... this place is a diamond inthe rough. If I lived around here I would be a solid three hundo by winter! And yes I mean lbs bud. Try this place out, dont let the appearance fool you, this is a true mom n pop diner with quick service and great food. The kids even got dum dums afterwards from the cook herself. Thank you so much for some great eats and better hospitality.

Really felt like a homey kitchen. Bacon was too dry but everything else was cool!
